Who we are

Contract manufacturing in Indonesia since 1982

PT Honoris Industry has manufactured on behalf of Japanese and international brands since 1982 — plastic injection moulding, electronics assembly, and OEM production for the automotive, healthcare, and consumer electronics industries.

PT Honoris Industry was founded in 1982 and has spent four decades producing goods under other companies' brands. Our manufacturing campus sits in Ciawi, Bogor, roughly an hour south of Jakarta, and covers three disciplines: plastic injection moulding, electronic manufacturing services, and OEM assembly.

Our work has supplied automotive, healthcare, optical, consumer electronics, and appliance programmes. Past and present partners include Fuji Film, Pioneer, Kawai, Hitachi, Epson, Honda, Yamaha, Astra Visteon, Shinko, Showa, and Sanken Indonesia — most of them Japanese manufacturers who audited our process before placing work with us.

Since 1990 we have also run electronic manufacturing services for global brands, and since 2009 we have manufactured our own HORI LED lighting range: bulbs, tubes, panels, street lighting, flood lighting, and high bay fixtures for the Indonesian market.

We hold ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018, and we are certified to produce for export to Japan, the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and the ASEAN region.

Our mission

To improve performance continuously through the use of resources and technology, meeting customer satisfaction and increasing value for society and shareholders.

Our vision

To be the leading marketer of safe, high-quality consumer products at competitive prices that deliver high benefit to society.

Key manufacturing capabilities

Six production disciplines under one roof, so your specification survives every handoff.

  • Plastic Injection Moulding

Moulded components for automotive instruments, printers, digital pianos, home appliances, audio equipment, medical devices, and television antennas.

  • Electronic Manufacturing Services

Contract electronics production for brands including Sanken Indonesia and Multi Indocitra, and for our own HORI Lighting range.

  • OEM & Private Label Assembly

Original components and finished assemblies supplied under our customers' brands, from automotive plastic parts to digital piano keyboard assemblies.

  • Painting & Printing

Surface finishing and decoration for moulded components, kept on the same site as the moulding that produces them.

  • HORI LED Lighting

Our own lighting range: LED candle, bulb, flood light, street light, high bay, down light, tube T8, par, and spot for industrial, office, retail, and residential use.

OEM services

Why OEM brands manufacture with us

We manufacture under your brand and never compete with you. Tooling, production, testing, and documentation are managed as one programme.

  • Four decades of continuity

We have manufactured for other brands since 1982. Several relationships have run for more than twenty years, which is the only proof of reliability that matters in contract manufacturing.

  • Your brand, our anonymity

We do not compete with the customers we manufacture for. Their designs, tooling, and volumes stay confidential, and we never sell a product developed for one customer to another.

  • Processes that survive an audit

Our customers include Japanese manufacturers who audit their suppliers in detail before placing work. Our quality, environmental, and safety systems are built to pass those audits, not to look good on a certificate.

  • Capability kept in-house

Moulding, painting, printing, and electronic assembly sit on one site. Keeping them together removes the dimensional drift and schedule risk that appear when work is trucked between vendors.

We are judged by whether your product ships on time and stays consistent in year five, not by our showroom.

Manufacturing process

Seven controlled stages from first enquiry to after-sales improvement.

  1. Inquiry & Requirements Review

You send drawings, specifications, target volumes, and target pricing. We respond with a feasibility position and the questions that actually matter.

  2. DFM & Quotation

Engineering reviews manufacturability, proposes cost-down changes, and issues a written quotation covering tooling, unit price at volume breaks, and lead time.

  3. Tooling & Prototyping

Moulds are designed, built, and trialled. Prototypes and pre-production samples are submitted for your approval with dimensional reports.

  4. Qualification & Approval

First-article inspection and reliability testing, and where the market requires it, third-party laboratory testing. Production starts only after written sample approval.

  5. Mass Production

Production runs under a documented control plan with in-process inspection and lot traceability. Progress and yield are reported against your schedule.

  6. Finishing & Final Inspection

Painting, printing, and assembly as required, followed by outgoing inspection and, for export programmes, the documentation the destination market requires.

  7. Shipment & After-Sales

Export documentation and container loading, then field feedback tracked back to the process step that caused it.

Quality & certifications

Documented control plans, traceable lots, and independent certification — audited annually.

  • ISO 9001:2015 quality management

Certified since our customers began requiring it, covering design, manufacturing, and delivery. Maintained to withstand the supplier audits our customers run before placing work.

  • ISO 14001:2015 environmental management

Waste treatment, emissions control, and resource efficiency across the site, audited annually.

  • ISO 45001:2018 occupational health & safety

Safety management covering all production, warehouse, and laboratory areas, and every contractor on site.

  • Documented control plans

Every part number carries a control plan naming the characteristic, the specification, the measurement method, the sample frequency, and the reaction plan when it drifts.

  • Incoming material verification

Resin grades, electronic components, and purchased parts are verified on receipt against the specification before they reach a production line.

  • In-process inspection

Operators perform first-off, in-process, and last-off checks against the control plan, with results recorded in the production system rather than on paper that can be back-filled.
