Honoris Industry

About Us

Four decades of manufacturing for other people's brands

From optical parts in 1982 to LED lighting today, our business has always been the same: another company owns the market and the brand, we own the process behind it.

Contract manufacturing in Indonesia since 1982

PT Honoris Industry has manufactured on behalf of Japanese and international brands since 1982 — plastic injection moulding, electronics assembly, and OEM production for the automotive, healthcare, and consumer electronics industries.

PT Honoris Industry was founded in 1982 and has spent four decades producing goods under other companies' brands. Our manufacturing campus sits in Ciawi, Bogor, roughly an hour south of Jakarta, and covers three disciplines: plastic injection moulding, electronic manufacturing services, and OEM assembly.

Our work has supplied automotive, healthcare, optical, consumer electronics, and appliance programmes. Past and present partners include Fuji Film, Pioneer, Kawai, Hitachi, Epson, Honda, Yamaha, Astra Visteon, Shinko, Showa, and Sanken Indonesia — most of them Japanese manufacturers who audited our process before placing work with us.

Since 1990 we have also run electronic manufacturing services for global brands, and since 2009 we have manufactured our own HORI LED lighting range: bulbs, tubes, panels, street lighting, flood lighting, and high bay fixtures for the Indonesian market.

We hold ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018, and we are certified to produce for export to Japan, the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and the ASEAN region.

What we hold to

Four commitments that decide how we take on work, and which work we decline.

  • Four decades of continuity

We have manufactured for other brands since 1982. Several relationships have run for more than twenty years, which is the only proof of reliability that matters in contract manufacturing.

  • Your brand, our anonymity

We do not compete with the customers we manufacture for. Their designs, tooling, and volumes stay confidential, and we never sell a product developed for one customer to another.

  • Processes that survive an audit

Our customers include Japanese manufacturers who audit their suppliers in detail before placing work. Our quality, environmental, and safety systems are built to pass those audits, not to look good on a certificate.

  • Capability kept in-house

Moulding, painting, printing, and electronic assembly sit on one site. Keeping them together removes the dimensional drift and schedule risk that appear when work is trucked between vendors.

Commitment to quality

Quality at Honoris is a management system, not a department. Every programme runs under a documented control plan with in-process inspection and lot traceability, and every certification we hold is audited annually by an independent body. When a defect reaches a customer, we trace it to the process step that caused it and correct the process — not the shipment.
